Local Community Outreach

Over the past 10+ years, volunteering locally has been a very important part of our lives. Each board member has logged hundreds of hours volunteering for their communities for various causes; homelessness, abused & neglected children, animal rescue, nursing home visits, tornado clean-up, meal services…just to name a few. After Magic Beans was founded in 2012, we were given a vehicle to expand our reach and help in many different ways.

We have met so many wonderful people along the way with similar dreams to help those in need. We encourage you to join us at the next local event!

Scottish Rite Visits:

We like to visit Scottish Rite monthly. We take groups from high schools as well as friends to spend time on crafting activities . Here are a couple photos from the most recent visit.

Magic Beans’ Back-to-School Picnic

What a fun way to reach out to our community. We distributed free school supply packs to over 70 local children. Our Back-to-School Picnic included lunch plates, free face painting, tattoos and back-to-school photos. This will definitely be an annual event and we’re so excited about the positive feedback we received from the families.

Christmas Party at Texas Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital

We had a fun evening with the patients at Scottish Rite, crafting and sharing smiles. We delivered a portion of the donations we have been collecting for joy boxes for the patients.

Sandwiches for SoupMobile – Dallas, TX.
